Director, Business Operations

We are looking for a passionate and experienced Business Operations leader who can translate strategy into action, execute plans brilliantly, and are the subject matter expert and ‘go-to’ person for global company-wide initiatives and leadership teams.

A great operations leader helps the company focus on the right things at the right time, drive sales growth by identifying areas for expansion and improvement, drive efficiencies by streamlining business processes and team alignment. You must have the right data to analyse, gather market and competitive research, create meaningful reports for decision making and make recommendations and course corrections before it’s too late.

Working under the direction of the COO, who is responsible for all business operations (HR, Legal, Finance, Sales Ops, business process), Global Client service and support, and service delivery, your contribution will be critical for the successful execution of TSA’s global expansion strategy by driving business process optimization and automation to ensure our Hotel clients performance and long-term growth and success. You will work closely with internal and external stakeholders to ensure productivity and effectiveness of our global operations.

The Business Operations leader will also play a key part in driving the tone and culture for the sales teams across each of our 5 geographic regions and must bring life to our values while delivering against our goals. Ultimately delivering a best in class customer engagement, support and service.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide strategic leadership to the Sales functions to drive and deliver a high performing sales culture focused on governance, compliance and continuous improvement and innovation across our people, systems and processes.

  • Achieve performance objectives by ensuring effective business and sales processes are in place and driving continuous improvement by proactively monitoring operational performance and reporting on key performance indicators across relevant metrics.

  • Design and deliver business, revenue performance insights, analytics and pipeline reporting to enable agile commercial decision making to drive increased sales, drive target customer acquisition and growth.

  • Lead and perform analysis on key metrics and trends, market research to provide data driven reports, insights and presentation materials; create visualisation reports based on analysis of data and present that data to management.

  • Analyse key metrics; coordinating with sales, accounting and marketing teams to develop and implement solutions; and coordinating with local, regional, national, and global sales teams to ensure sales goals are met in a timely fashion and in compliance with best practices and relevant regulations.

  • Proactively identify, develop and implement opportunities for business process improvements

  • Measure the efficiency and effectiveness of the sales organization across sales quantity, quality, cost and compliance.

  • Rollout Sales and Consulting performance management tools.

  • Drive project management leadership and execution (charter, documentation, status communication

  • Support on ad-hoc administrative and logistics duties.

  • Liaison with vendors: first point of contact/ quotation and requirements check.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in business operations, consulting, finance background would be a plus.

  • Comprehensive understanding of standard business practices, processes and systems that support business processes

  • Strategic mindset with strong problem solving and good common sense/ logical thinking skills.

  • Possess an inquisitive "challenge the status quo" approach to existing practices and procedures

  • Flexible and responsive nature to handle changing priorities and meet tight deadlines.

  • Strong project management skills

  • Experience working with Business Intelligence tools (Tableau etc.)

  • Familiar with Service Delivery, CRM, Knowledge Base platforms. Knowledge of Salesforce would be a big plus.

  • Active user of Project Management tools (Smartsheets, Microsoft Project etc.)

  • Strong analytical and communications skills (both verbal and written).

  • Excellent organization and administrative skills, responsible and well organized.

  • Ability to influence others at all levels of the business.

  • Comfortable with an individual contributor role

  • BA/BS degree or equivalent.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PPT
